From 21 to 23 October 2025, the flagship annual event for the global telecommunications and digital infrastructure sector — Capacity Europe 2025 — was held at the InterContinental London – The O2.
As one of the most influential international conferences in the communications industry, this year’s event brought together hundreds of telecom operators, cloud service providers, data-centre companies and technology enterprises from around the world to explore new trends in networking, computing power, AI, and sustainable development.
China Telecom Global Limited (CTG) participated together with the team from China Telecom (Europe) (CTE), with representatives from multiple departments — including Carrier, VOC, Solutions and Marketing Department — attending the event and engaging in in-depth discussions with global industry peers.
As a long-standing partner of Capacity Europe, China Telecom has participated in the conference for many consecutive years. This year, the company showcased its innovation and spirit of open collaboration in areas such as global network interconnection, cloud-network integration, AI data centres and the Internet of Things (IoT), fully demonstrating how CTE, under CTG’s leadership, is actively advancing high-quality operator cooperation and business transformation in practice.

During the three-day conference, the China Telecom delegation held productive discussions with more than 60 international carriers, cloud providers and industry partners — including Vodafone, Orange, BT, Deutsche Telekom, Tata Communications, Telefónica, Colt, GTT, BICS, Arelion, Sparkle, NTT, Mobily, and Azertelecom.
The conversations covered a wide range of topics such as international transmission, submarine-cable cooperation, global PoP deployment, AI data centres, satellite communications, and IoV/IoT applications. Looking ahead, CTG and its partners will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly build a more open, collaborative, and mutually beneficial global communications ecosystem.
At the same time, during the Global Connectivity Awards 2025, China Telecom was honoured with the “Best IoT Initiative” award. Recognised as one of the most prestigious and influential accolades in the global communications industry, the award celebrates companies making outstanding contributions to digital infrastructure and technological innovation. This recognition highlights China Telecom’s leadership and innovation in global IoT connectivity and management.

Looking ahead, CTE will continue to deepen high-quality collaboration with leading global operators under the guidance of CTG. By helping enterprise customers overcome geographic, compliance, and cost barriers, the company aims to deliver more efficient, green, and sustainable technology solutions — empowering the intelligent transformation of global industries and working hand in hand with partners to shape a new era of intelligent connectivity.
